1. Acceptance
By using QuoteOx (this website, our quoting tools, or any service we provide), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What QuoteOx is
QuoteOx Insurance Agency LLC is an independent insurance agency licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We solicit quotes from multiple carriers on your behalf and, when you choose to bind, we place coverage with the carrier you select. We are not an insurer; the policy is between you and the carrier.
3. Quotes are estimates
Quotes generated through QuoteOx reflect the carrier's preliminary pricing based on the information you provide. The carrier may adjust the premium during underwriting, before binding, or at renewal. A quote is not a contract of insurance and does not bind coverage until the carrier issues a policy.
4. Your account & information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. Misrepresenting facts on an insurance application — including driving history, prior claims, or property details — can result in claim denial or policy rescission by the carrier. Please review every quote and application before signing.
5. Communications consent
When you request a quote, you authorize us to contact you by email, phone, or text about your quote, policy, or claims. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time. Transactional messages (claim status, renewal notices, document requests) may continue while you are an active customer, as required by Massachusetts law.
6. Independent agency role
As an independent agent, we represent you, not any single carrier. We will recommend the option we believe is best for your situation, but the final choice is always yours. If you tell us a carrier or policy is unacceptable to you, we will not place it.
7. Compensation
We are compensated by the carrier you bind a policy with — a standard commission built into your premium. We do not charge you a separate broker fee for personal-lines policies (auto, home, renters, umbrella). We disclose any other compensation arrangements as required by Massachusetts law.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use QuoteOx to commit fraud, scrape our quoting tools, attempt to interfere with our systems, or impersonate another person. We may terminate access if you do.

10. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the commission earned on your most recent policy through us.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify QuoteOx for any third-party claim arising from your misuse of the service or from inaccurate information you submitted to us.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of QuoteOx after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
